APSC Grade IV Recruitment for 20 Vacancies 2025 – Apply Online.

The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) invites online applications from eligible permanent residents of Assam for recruitment to 20 Grade-IV posts under its establishment. Eligibility Criteria

Qualification:

- Minimum: Class VIII passed
- Maximum: HSSLC (Class 12) or equivalent passed
- Candidates possessing qualifications higher than Class 12 on the date of application are not eligible.
- Self-declaration (Annexure-I) required.

Nationality & Domicile:

- Must be an Indian citizen (Articles 5–8 of the Constitution of India).
- Must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- Proof required: Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate

Age Limit (as on 1st January 2025):

- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 40 years
- Relaxations:
  - Ex-Servicemen: +2 years
  - OBC/MOBC: +3 years
  - SC/ST: +5 years
  - PwD: +10 years

Selection Process

The recruitment will be conducted in two phases:

Phase-I: Screening Test (OMR-based MCQ)

Total Marks: 100
Duration: 2 hours
Question Standard: Class VI, VII & VIII level
Subjects & Marks Distribution:
- Arithmetic – 20 marks
- General Knowledge (Assam specific) – 20 marks
- Reasoning – 20 marks
- Social Science – 20 marks
- Science – 10 marks
- Elementary English – 10 marks

Phase-II: Interview

Candidates shortlisted from Phase-I will be called for the Interview.
Shortlisting will be done in a 1:5 ratio as per category-wise reservation rules.

o No changes can be made after submission.

6. Fee Payment:

o Pay the prescribed processing fee online.

o Applications without fee payment will be rejected.

7. Final Submission & Printout:

o Submit the form and take a printout of the final application for future reference.
